As I close my eyes; and fall asleep,

I dreamt of something I wanted to see.

The chilly breeze of the air strike us,

I asked you, “Can you feel it honey?”

You smiled at me and answered, “Yes, I can”

We were at the park I guess, with the birds in our side.

We can hear the splash made by the seawater.

That wasn’t an ordinary day with you.

Slowly it became so cold; out of the blue I felt the warmth of your hands.

“Are you afraid?” you said,

I answered you back, “I guess they won’t let me”

“Hold on, time won’t let it happen” you said as you were looking far away.

I rest my head on your shoulders and closed my eyes, you looked at me.

“You never changed; you’re still attractive in my eyes.”

I was surprise of what you said, and when I opened my eyes.

I can see that everything was turning grey; little by little it was fading.

I hold your hand tightly and said,

“If I die, I’ll die with only one man at my side, it is you.”

A tear fell down my face, you said

“My dear, I’m always with you no matter what happens”

That was the time I realize, God gave me a special gift,

I did grow old with the man I love.

After that, I never woke up.
